What is Nia?


The Nia Technique is fusion fitness. Combining carefully selected movements and concepts from yoga, tai chi, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, jazz, modern dance, and other movement forms, Nia classes offer an increase in flexibility, mobility, strength, and stability—and can be personalized for any level of fitness and agility.

Through expressive movement—the Body’s Way—Nia empowers people to achieve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and well-being. No prior training is necessary. Everyone is welcome.
