Yoga & Mindfulness Meditation workshop

No previous experience is necessary. This class can be an introduction to mindfulness meditation for people who are new to meditation or an opportunity to enhance the knowledge you already have if you are an experienced meditator.

You will learn a variety of yoga poses to increase strength and flexibility in your hips, hamstrings, and back to enhance stability and suppleness in sitting postures, including sitting on a chair. You do not have to be able to sit on the floor!
In addition, you’ll learn mindfulness practices that develop your ability to focus your attention, which gives you more choice in how you respond to the events and stresses of daily life.
