Angela McWilliams Angela McWilliams is a graduate of a certified teacher training program and is currently pursuing her 500-hour Yoga Alliance certification. She is fortunate to have crossed paths with three very gifted yoga teachers—Cindy Dollar, Stephanie Keach, and Shala Worsley—and acknowledges these three as her guiding lights on the yogic path. Angela's classes are Iyengar-influenced, with an emphasis on alignment and precision in each pose, balanced with a liberal dose of laughter and good humor. An avid scuba diver, Angela is working to develop her own style of yoga, practiced underwater on scuba. It already has a name: SubAqua Yoga. She has, however, reached the unfortunate conclusion that Asheville is not the best place to practice this form of yoga. “Your body exists in the past and your mind in the future. In yoga, they come together in the present.” — BKS Iyengar Join Angela for a Vinyasa Flow Yoga Class • Wednesdays • 5:45–7:15 PM and for her Alignment-based Yoga, Intro/Level I class • Wednesdays • 7:30–9:00 PM. |
